Academy Membership – The Pathway into Langley Park
The Academy Membership at Langley Park Golf Club in Beckenham, Kent is the perfect introduction for anyone new to golf and new to club life. It blends professional PGA coaching with on-course experience, helping beginners develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to progress into full membership.
What’s Included in the Academy Membership
6 one-hour individual lessons with a PGA Professional Coach, including full swing analysis and use of our SkyTrak Indoor Golf Simulator
7-hole playing lesson on the course with personal instruction covering:
Correct shot-making techniques
Golf rules and etiquette
On-course strategies and game improvement methods
Equipment assessment, including loft and lie checks, plus the chance to test the latest demo clubs from leading brands such as Callaway, Titleist, and Ping
Course access during off-peak times (after 2:00pm weekdays and 3:00pm weekends), once the Head Professional signs you off as ready
12 months’ Social Membership with full use of the clubhouse and events calendar
£50 pre-loaded on your member’s club card to spend on food and drink in the clubhouse
Public liability cover while playing on the course
The chance to meet fellow golfers, make friends, and be part of a supportive club environment
Progression into Membership
After your 12 months in the Academy, you will be invited to transfer into another membership category. Progression is based on:
