The Junior Golf Program at Langley Park Golf Club (LPGC) is dedicated to providing young people aged 5 to 18 with an enjoyable, inclusive, and supportive introduction to the sport. Designed for players of every ability level—from complete beginners to aspiring elite competitors—the program offers a clear and structured pathway that helps each junior develop at a pace that suits them. Our goal is not only to teach the fundamentals of golf, but also to inspire a lifelong passion for the game through an environment built on fun, friendship, and personal achievement.
A key priority of the program is to promote balanced participation, with a particular focus on increasing the number of junior girls who feel welcome and confident on the course. By nurturing a culture of equality and encouragement, LPGC aims to ensure that all young golfers can experience the sport in a way that feels accessible and rewarding
Parents and guardians are recognised as an essential part of each junior’s development, and the program actively encourages family involvement. Whether supporting practice sessions, attending events, or simply celebrating progress, families play a vital role in helping young players build skills and confidence that extend beyond the course.
Ultimately, the Junior Golf Program serves as an investment in the future of Langley Park Golf Club. By developing not only skilled golfers but also responsible, engaged young members, the program helps to cultivate the next generation of players, volunteers, and leaders who will carry the spirit and values of LPGC forward for years to come.
